The Animus Arts Collective creates large scale, multimedia, participatory artworks.

From public art installations to climbable sculptures and interactive experiential theater, Animus has spent the past four years creating a diverse and distinct portfolio of high impact art.  Each unique project, elegant and thought-provoking, attempts to engage the viewer in new and interesting ways.

What began as a simple mission to create a single sculpture, "Arbor Animus," transformed rapidly into a collective of artists dedicated to designing and producing artworks collaboratively.  Since 2008, Animus has contributed to arts and music festivals across the country, numerous participatory events in NYC, and has created art for public spaces. Members of Animus have incredibly varied backgrounds including fine arts, film, theater, writing, fabrication, event production, lighting design, and architecture.  These distinct perspectives influence the process in which Animus creates.  Beautiful lighting, dynamic geometric forms, skilled craftsmanship, and a dramatic interactive experience are what have come to define the Animus style.
